A Tactile Interpretation for The National Galleries of Scotland Art Competition for Schools 2008
The original is made from Fibreglass and other materials and it draws attention to the shapes, textures and patterns we pass daily.
Here the pavement is made from a piece of Vinyl and the kerbstone from leather. The road marking is cut and shaped from fine white leather and the road itself is cut from a rough-textured waterproof backing of part of a doormat!
